Stephen Ministry provides one-to-one Christian care through specially trained members of our congregation to those in our church body experiencing challenges in life – grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss and many other life difficulties. Read more about Stephen Ministry here. This video will tell you more about Stephen Ministry as well.

DivorceCare (watch for the Fall start date)
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. People who understand what you are going through and want to help lead the group. You will gain access to valuable resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Through the meals ministry, Sonrise Church provides meals to church members in times of need, serving God by serving and caring for individuals and families. In times of need, it is an incredible blessing to see a friendly face and receive a meal. Fill out the weekly bulletin tear-off, or call the church office (469-3700) if you would like to be part of the meals ministry, or if you know someone needing a meal.
As Sonrise Church continues to grow, it is impossible for the full-time pastors to make all the hospital calls. That's why we have trained some of our most compassionate people to make many of our hospital visits. We're always looking for willing servants with the ability and desire to spread hope and love to those in the hospital. If you have the gift of mercy and would like to join this team, or if you know of someone who desires a hospital visit, contact Sonrise office at 260-469-3700.
Cross Connections is a Christian, biblically based counseling agency located in Northeast Ft. Wayne. They have licensed counselors that handle a wide range of issues, including family dysfunction, marital issues, depression and more. Sonrise refers church attenders that need spiritual and mental health healing to Cross Connections.
If you desire counseling or are interested in learning more, please visit the Cross Connections website to learn more about them. To begin receiving care, you will need to talk with a Pastor. After that discussion, he/she can make a referral to Cross Connections, and they will contact you to discuss the level of care to begin and coordinate a first meeting.
Staff and volunteers pray weekly for prayer requests that are phoned in to the office or turned in via the bulletin tear-off. If prayer is your gifting, please call the church office (469-3700) to let us know you would like to join the prayer team!
